Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 cups chopped, dried figs
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. Fold in figs and nuts. Spread in greased 10 x 15-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool, drizzle with glaze. Wait 30 minutes and cut into bars.

Serves 4 to 6.
