Cajun spiced walnuts

Ingredients

  • 1 egg white
  • 1 1/2 tsp. mixed dried herbs (such as thyme, basil and oregano)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 2 cups walnut halves and/or pieces

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and coat a large, shallow baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Place egg white, herbs, garlic salt, cayenne and paprika in a large bowl. Beat with a whisk or fork until blended. Add walnuts and toss until evenly coated; spread in prepared pan. Bake 16 to 18 minutes, stirring once after about 8 minutes, until nuts look dry and toasted. Remove from oven and cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
